7/25-29/11 Advertising/Media Committee

 

The Advertising and Media Committee under the leadership of Lynn Arvisais has been an active group over the last several months who with their wonderfully creative minds have established the name and design for this event, put up the event website, and have created Save the Date cards as well as sponsorship packets, posters and flyers . You can see their stellar designs at www.wovwashington.org. What a blessing that these women have willingly given of their time and talents to present to us materials that are informative and aesthetically pleasing with cutting edge technology.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We are grateful for your love for us. We praise You and worship You. We bow before You and surrender our lives to You.

We are grateful for Lynn and her team. Bless them for the hours that they have devoted to this event creating just what is needed to portray the information in a way that catches attention and informs. We praise You for the gifts that You have placed within each woman and for how they are able to express their creativity in this this beautiful art form.

We pray that every image and every word would be used by You to call people to an awareness of this event and the purpose for which it exists. We ask that as people look at the postcards and flyers and navigate the website that You would guide them to the perfect piece that will motivate them to take action and underwrite this event, sponsor a table or buy a ticket. Use the faces of the women and children on all of this media to tell the story of oppression and present the opportunity that each viewer has to bring hope. Let there be something in each pixel that speaks of compassion and mercy as people gaze upon these pieces of art.

For those who receive a Save the Date postcard or go to the website or receive a table sponsor kit may they take pause and ponder their part in this event. We ask that Your Spirit would hover and arouse curiosity. Use these materials to bring awareness and call to action.

Lord, we know that when we do our part and we bring our best to You that You do the rest. We lay all of these advertising and media pieces at Your feet and ask You to use them. Multiply the efforts of those who created them. Bring 500-750 people to the WuDunn Event as a result of this advertising.

We will give you all the praise and all the glory, for in the end we know that without Your had of blessing on this work that our efforts are in vain. Thank You for Your blessing on all that this committee has done. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

SANCTIFICATION

My Utmost for His Highest

     Of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto

     us ... sanctification. Corinthians 1:30

The Life Side. The mystery of sanctification is that the perfections of Jesus Christ are imparted to me, not gradually, but instantly when by faith I enter into the realization that Jesus Christ is made unto
me sanctification. Sanctification does not mean anything less than the holiness of Jesus being made mine manifestly.

The one marvelous secret of a holy life lies not in imitating Jesus,but in letting the perfections of Jesus manifest themselves in my mortal flesh. Sanctification is "Christ in you." It is His wonderful
life that is imparted to me in sanctification, and imparted by faith as a sovereign gift of God's grace. Am I willing for God to make sanctification as real in me as it is in His word?

Sanctification means the impartation of the Holy qualities of Jesus Christ. It is His patience, His love, His holiness, His faith, His purity, His godliness, that is manifested in and through every
sanctified soul. Sanctification is not drawing from Jesus the power to be holy; it is drawing from Jesus the holiness that was manifested in Him, and He manifests it in me. Sanctification is an impartation,
not an imitation. Imitation is on a different line. In Jesus Christ is the perfection of everything, and the mystery of sanctification is that all the perfections of Jesus are at my disposal, and slowly and
surely I begin to live a life of ineffable order and sanity and
holiness: "Kept by the power of God."

Prayer for Domestic Project Mission Trip

Tomorrow, July 23, 2011 is the departure date for our South Puget Sound Women of Vision second annual mission trip to Phillipi, West Virginia. Laura, Patty and Corri from our Chapter will time-travel to Jesus' Hometown Nazareth where they will participate in helping with vacation Bible school each morning while in costume they mingle with the town's children providing crafts, joining in songs and teaching them about Jesus. In the afternoons they will trade their costumes for work clothes and a tool belt and help with painting houses and other lighter construction work for local residents. They will be attending church services and  visiting the local World Vision office and storehouse, They will view and participate in World Vision’s U.S. Programs work taking place in rural West Virginia.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly,
We come to You in the Name of Jesus asking that You would go before our South Puget Sound Chapter team as they travel to West Virginia and become Your Hands to the people there. Give them Your grace and mercy as they meet the demands of each day both physically and spiritually. keep them safe in their travels and in their work. Give them joy unspeakable and laughter as they work with the children. Put a song in their hearts and give them boldness to share the Gospel unashamed to any who will listen whatever their age. Bless them with something dear to each of their hearts that they can return home with that will encourage and empower them as they return to their daily lives here. Be with their families and fill in the missing space with your provision. We thank you for these women who are willing and who go in faith answering Your call.

Underwriting Committee

Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise You and thank you that You hear our prayers, that You are never too busy and that You are always available when we call on You. Thank You for the abundant blessings in our lives. Thank You that Your mercy is new every morning.

Today we lift up Beth Yeager and the Underwriting Committee for the Make It Right Event. Lord, we know that You are the God of miracles and that nothing is impossible for You, so we ask that You would make a way and work on the hearts of corporations and individuals who will hear about this event this week or have already heard about this event. Bring this event into the hearts and minds of those with means and move as only You can move to motivate them to give the large sum that this event requires. Lord we know that You own all the cattle on a thousand hills and all the gold and silver and that Your arm is not short. We call out to You to bring underwriters of Your choosing and send the funds that are needed. We will give You all the praise for what You will do on behalf of the women and children who will benefit from the monies given during this event.

We especially bring Beth to your remembrance as she goes about the tasks necessary to make the right contacts at the right time and in the right place. Give her the words and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen, when to call and when to pray, when to trust and when to wait. Thank you for all the gifts and talents and experiences that You have given to Beth so that she is Your woman for this task at this time. Thank You that this event is part of her purpose in her present position with Women of Vision and that through this event You are working in her life and through her life to bless her and those she touches as she seeks underwriters. 

 

Thank You Lord for those who are assisting this committee. Multiply their efforts as contact lists are formulated and acquired. Thank you for all the behind-the-scene efforts that surround this committee. Bless each one as they give their best for the success of this event.

Lord, we know that without Your Hand of blessing that nothing of value will be accomplished, so we come before You asking for your blessing on this Committee. In Your Name we pray. Amen.

Venue Committee

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the Name of Jesus praising You. We bow our will  before You and ask that Your will be done. We acknowledge that You are the Way Maker, the Creator, the Life Giver.

Lord we ask that You would make a way for all the aspects of the venue to come into alignment with your perfect plan for this evening. We know that there are so many details that must be orchestrated together for the Make It Right Event to be successful. The venue is key.

The Hyatt coordinator is a significant person; please bless her, Lord, as she works on our behalf to arrange and set up. Let every contact that she makes be the best contact. Let there be clear communication between her and Brenda as they work together.  We pray for Jane Bankester and ask that as she works with the AV staff that everything would be planned with concise anticipation of need, that all equipment would be set correctly and function properly. We ask that the technician coordinating with Jane would be easy to communicate with, cooperative and have a good ear for sound and a good eye for visuals. We ask that Beth would be able to finalize a contract that benefits all parties in a manner that is expeditious and effective. Bless this Venue Committee in all that they are doing and will do and for all the hard work that has already been done surrounding this venue.

We pray for all who are in the building the evening of this event and ask that all would be safe and free from injury. Thank you that nothing would hinder Your work before, during and after the event. We ask for warring angels and ministering angels to be in the building and surrounding the building. We ask that when people enter this venue that they will feel Your presence. Let them sense that You are there through a peace that passes all understanding.

We pray for the building, Lord, that it would be free from any circumstance or happening that would prevent the Make It Right Event from happening. Thank you that all systems are operating normally and that there is nothing faulty or dangerous in any place in the venue.

Lord, we believe that You have called us to this venue on September 18, 2011. We thank you that You go before us and that everything surrounding the use of this venue and the people preparing it, presenting it and packing up will have wisdom. Bless each one.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the Name of Jesus praising You as the Creator of all that exists, of the past, the present and all that is to come. We are astonished by the stars, our galaxy, the Universe, the planets, the seas, oceans, lakes, majestic mountain ranges, canyons, mankind, creatures, sunsets and sunrises. We praise You for the gift of life and all the blessings you bestow upon your Creation. We are humbled by Your love for us, You perfect plan for each life and Your faithfulness to Your Word and Your promises.

We are gathering this Friday to honor You, to learn more of You and to be a testimony to You and your love and mercy in our lives. We ask that you would have the women present that You have called to gather. We ask for Your anointing on the presenters. We ask for traveling mercies. We want to learn more about our gifts and how to give them to others in a way that honors You and advances Your Kingdom. We want to understand better how we can be Your Hands extended to the world to bring life in all its fullness to the poor and marginalized women and children for the world.  We want to bow before You in earnest prayer on behalf of the Make It Right, Sheryl WuDunn Event. Show us how to pray so that we are tapping into Your Throne Room and bringing to the Seattle Area all that You want us to bring through this event. We want to cause You to dance over us with joy because we have gathered.

We love You, Jesus and we ask these things in Your Name. Amen

From Oppression to Opportunity

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the matchless, wonderful Name of Jesus and ask that you would help us in this event planning, preparation and presentation. Our heart is to bring about a greater understanding of global, National and local human trafficking through Sheryl WuDunn while bringing honor and glory to You as the Way Maker of change. Give her the words to open hearts to the reality of this issue. Lord, we want to see captives set free, broken hearts mended, and comfort brought to those victims who mourn about their losses from injustice. Use us Lord to bring Light to the darkness!

Lord, we ask that You would help us to raise funds to impact the human trafficking darkness. We pray specifically that chapters would raise their pledged sum for their projects and that the monies allotted for this event will be paid back in full. We ask that You would sell each seat three times. We ask for underwriters to cover the cost. Lord, bless Renee Stearns as she calls people to respond. Give her words to awaken hearts to the need and to their means. Lord, we ask BIG because we believe that You are the God of the BIG and miraculous. We ask You to move beyond what we could think or ask.

We ask for unity and harmony among the committees and that You would give each committee member an extra measure of Your strength, stamina and provision. We ask that the fruit of Your Spirit would be evident in our dealings with each other and those with whom we contact surrounding this event. We ask that nothing would divide is in mind or spirit. We ask that you would be lifted up at each meeting, in every communication and in the evening of the event.
We praise You Lord for each person. We ask that you would bless each one. Lord, You have orchestrated a team of mighty, godly women who “do” so that others can live life in its fullness.

We praise You that You have called us to this event at such a time as this and that You will equip us in every way to be all that we can be as a testimony to all that You are! We do not presume that we are sufficient in ourselves for this or any other task that we do to advance Your kingdom. We praise You that You send Your Holy Spirit to guide us through this process and that we cannot fail because You are the center of this work.

We praise You and worship You as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Worthy is the Lamb to receive glory and honor and blessing. In Your Name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
