February First Saturday Prayer

 Prayer for Kathy Cooper Today

Several WOV chapters have asked. You are all so kind. Kathy’s home address for any chapters wishing to send a card can be found on The City.

We also have an opportunity to collect monetary gifts to assist Kathy with expenses. World Vision employees are doing this, however, chapters are welcome to participate. If you would like to bless her please let us know. We will need to have the funds collected by Monday, Feb 7th. According to the Financial Hardship Matching Gift Policy, World Vision will match funds up to a maximum of $300.00. Any money raised above this amount will be included in the gift to Kathy. If you wish to give and cannot meet the deadline, your gift will be accepted and given to Kathy. Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the matchless Name of Jesus and bow down asking you to supernaturally come and show Yourself strong on behalf of our sister and friend, Kathy.  Surround her with your comfort.  Where there is uncertainty bring peace that passes human understanding, where there is sorrow bring Your healing balm, where there is pain bring forbearance by your grace. Today will be a hard day for Kathy and her family, but you promise us that nothing is too difficult for You.  Be her all in all today as she goes through the motions in  her numbness. Guide her as she puts one step in front of the other and continues on.  Thank you for her children who will help her and be there for her and for her family and Ron's family who will surround her with "togetherness" so she sees that she is not alone.  Give her a new understanding of Your Love today and in the days ahead.

We pray for Ron and Kathy's family members that you would comfort and encourage their hearts today.  If there are those who do not know you as their Savior, Jesus, we pray that today will be the day of their salvation. For those who do know You, we pray that Your peace and Love would embrace them today and every day.

We pray that this service today will be a celebration of Ron's life and that those who don't know You will come to know You through what they hear and see in the Aspen Chapel.  Soften hearts to Your Good News and we thank You that at least one person will come to know You through this service. Lord, You are the Giver of Life through Jesus. Thank you that we all have hope and know that when our spirits leave our body that we are present with You.  We celebrate Ron's life today and thank you for him and for the testimony of his life here on earth.

We love You Jesus. In Your Name we pray. Amen
